Chives

Mild onion flavour and super easy to grow! Snip the green tops and use them fresh in salads, on eggs, or with potatoes.
Grow Tips: Likes sun or part shade. Cut often to encourage new growth.
Harvest: From 6–8 weeks, ongoing.

Sweet William

Vibrant biennial with bee and butterfly-attracting blooms. Petals elevate dishes like ice cream, salads, fruit, sauces, seafood, and stir-fries. Remember to discard the bitter white heel. Grow Tips: Full sun, good drainage. Flowers in the second season, but may bloom earlier in mild areas. Harvest: Flowers from 12–18 weeks (sometimes the following season).

Snow Peas

Crisp and sweet, pods can be eaten whole. Great raw or in a quick stir-fry.
Grow Tips: Needs a trellis or support. Keep well watered. Pick regularly to keep them
coming.
Harvest: 8–10 weeks.

Beetroot ‘Detroit Dark Red’

A classic deep red beet with tender, sweet roots and edible leaves.
Grow Tips: Prefers full sun and loose soil. Thin seedlings early for best-sized roots.
Harvest: 8–10 weeks.

Lettuce ‘Lollo Rossa’

Frilly, red-tinged leaves with a mild flavour and pretty presentation. Great in mixed salads.
Grow Tips: Prefers cooler weather. Harvest outer leaves or cut the whole plant.
Harvest: 6–8 weeks.

Lettuce ‘Iceberg’

Crunchy and refreshing! Forms a tight head if left to mature. Or pick the fresh leaves as you
go.
Grow Tips: Full sun, regular water. Keep soil moist for best texture.
Harvest: 8–10 weeks for a full head; earlier for young leaves.
